The goal of the music department at Andrew College is to provide a nurturing, yet challenging, environment for music students to develop their skill. The music curriculum of our degree program mirrors that of the University System of Georgia, preparing you to transfer to a four-year institution to complete your undergraduate study. Additionally, with an average music class size of six to eight students, you will receive personalized attention tailored to your specific needs.
Students who participate in the music program receive training which allows them to pursue a Bachelor of Music with emphases in performance or music education. The Associate of Music degree (AM) is offered with a vocal, piano, or instrumental emphasis. Music students will take courses in music theory, aural skills, and applied lessons.
Students admitted to Andrew College who wish to pursue the program of study in music must audition for admission to the Andrew College music department and have an interview with the music faculty. For audition and scholarship information, please email music@andrewcollege.edu or call 229-732-5909.
